Dana Webber has joined Studio Hanson|Roberts as senior architect and project manager. She is a 15-year Bainbridge Island resident with 23 years of architectural experience -- practicing with her own firm, in a collaborative of other individual architects and with the firm Hewitt Architects in Seattle.  Her experience ranges from high-rise apartments and ferry terminals, to recreational and institutional facilities. Each of her projects reflect her belief that good design is about making people feel comfortable and inspired as they engage with an unfolding and dynamic sequence of spaces, textures and forms.

Dana will be taking over the management of Woodland Park Zoo’s new Sharing the Forest, anexhibit zone that focuses on converting the Zoo’s 60-year old grotto exhibits into dramatic, expansive new habitats for Malayan tigers, sloth bears and Asian small-clawed otters. The goal is to meld the best of welfare science with what the Zoo is calling “Immersion 3.0” – the next step in creating a guest experience more wonder - more wild, an approach that firmly enlists the community’s understanding of the issues, and promotes support for the Zoo’s education and conservation efforts at home and around the world.

The Team that is working with us includes SvR Design Company, Natural Systems International (a division of BioHabitats), Sparling, MLA Engineers, DCI Engineering, Hope Engineering, SSA Acoustics, Zoological Lighting Services, and Ted Maranda Associates.
